small groups
small groups are the midweek focus of fire by night. the design is simple: discipleship through relationship. most groups are comprised of three elements: (1) community – building relationships and trust; (2) prayer – learning to hear the voice of god and to pray accordingly; (3) following jesus – getting to know what he is like and then choosing to become like him.
large groups
in addition to small group meetings, fire by night meets as a large group. in this setting students encounter god through lingering worship, biblical teaching, and prayer. monthly large group meetings are the venue where god’s heart for transforming teenagers into passionate worshipers and followers of jesus is shared. it’s also the place where the broader vision of why we exist and what we hope to accomplish through the holy spirit is communicated. meetings end with a ministry of prayer for students who respond in faith.
bible classes
fire by night also offers students a chance to connect with god on sunday mornings. guided bible classes help students discover how the story of god intersects the story of student life.
